Dogara gives committees deadline to submit 2017 budget report, pushes for payment of 3years pension arrears The Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has given a Friday deadline to committees yet to submit report of 2017 budget to the Committee on Appropriation. Speaker House of representatives, Yakubu Dogara gives committees Friday deadline to submit reports of 2017 budget Dogara gave the deadline at plenary and said that there was urgent need for the House to conclude work on the 2017 Appropriation Bill. He said that any committee that failed to meet the deadline will face the consequences. According to him, the affected Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of committees should endeavour to submit their reports latest March 30 to enable the Appropriation Committee hasten the process of passing the 2017 Appropriation Bill. The pictures reflect the typical Nigerian culture and the enthusiasm of most of the citizens. Pictures which showed dancing children, marching warriors, science lessons and so on have become treasures as they would be auctioned at the said amount above. Most of these pictures were taken by Edward Harland Duckworth who was the inspector of education in Nigeria between 1930 and 1944. The pictures were collated into an album by Henry Svory, his friend, who was heading a department in University of Ibadan then. The pictures reflect the lives of the native population in the country long before her independence.
