Legendary Super Eagles Player Dejo Fayemi Dies At 83   Former Super Eagles and Shooting Stars player who is the first Nigerian to play at the old Highbury Stadium of Arsenal Football Club of England, has passed away. According to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), former IICC Shooting Stars and Red Devils (now Super Eagles) striker, Dejo Fayemi is dead. He died on Friday morning at his residence situated at Odo-Ona Elewe, Ibadan, at the age of 83. He was part of the National team when they were referred to as the Red Devils, and was among the first set of Nigerians who travelled to England to play football just after Independence.
