My call-to-bar certificate fell inside water-Fake lawyer claims (see photo)

NAIJ.com gathered that a man parading himself as a qualified lawyer was recently exposed to be a fake and has been arrested in Imo state.

Mr Richard Ikenna Udeozo, was arrested for pretending to be a qualified lawyer in Imo state

According to reports, a man identified as Richard Ikenna Udeozo, was caught pretending to be a qualified lawyer, in Anambra state.

Richard had reportedly worked as a 'qualified lawyer' for 5 whole years, before he was caught in his deceitful act.

He was arraigned before Magistrate S.K Kadurumba, in Imo state, and charged with impersonation and forgery, among other charges.

When asked to present his call-to-bar certificate, Richard claimed he lost it after it fell into the water. Upon the court's insistence, he reportedly presented a forged certificate dated November 20, 2012, as proof, he also presented a forged qualifying certificate from the Council of Legal Education, also dated November 20, 2012, bearing Richard Ikenna Amanoh.

He also presented a forges change of name document which was published in the Vanguard newspaper of September 24, 2012, showing where he changed his name from Richard Ikenna Udeozo to Richard Ikenna Amanoh.
