Catholic priest rejects EXPENSIVE gift, you won't believe why (photos)

A catholic church in Molo, Nakuru county rejected a donated seat after a governor sat on it during a thanksgiving service on Sunday, March 26.

Governor Kinuthia Mbugua sat on the chair before it was consecrated causing the priest Father Anthony Kinuthia to reject it.
NAIJ.com has learnt that the seat worth KSh, 30,000 (N89, 100) had been donated by a businessman Joseph Kahuria during a thanksgiving service.

Unfortunately Kahuria asked the governor to seat on it to test how comfortable it was before presenting it to the priest.
"It is very wrong for you to allow a person to sit on a gift meant for church at the pulpit. it is not acceptable to the church," Kinuthia was quoted by Nation.

The chair was later on taken outside following orders by the father and even the rain outside did not change his mind.
Governor Mbugua apologised for the incident saying he didn't know he would be asked to sit on the gift.
Despite the fact that the seat might have been sat on at the store, the priest refused to accept it as a church gift.
