Wawu! Nigerian joins engineers named in the top 50 women under 35 in engineering (photos)
A Nigerian engineer has been named as one of the top 50 women who are under 35 in Engineering in the United Kingdom Telegraphy.
NAIJ.com discovered that the woman, who was identified as, Ozak Esu, is Okurike are of Rivers state, Nigeria.
It was gathered that the list is put together annually by Telegraph in collaboration with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES).
The purpose of the list is to support and boost women‘s participation in engineering.

Esu traveled out of Nigeria to United Kingdom in 2008. She studied IET accredited B.Eng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Loughborough University.
After getting her degree, Esu completed her Ph.D also at Loughborough University. She currently works at a top engineering consultancy company in the UK.

In an interview, Esu expressed that she decided to study Electronic and Electrical Engineer due to the energy problem in Nigeria.
