Lil Wayne reveals he’s 53% Nigerian

Lil Wayne has been on a press run recently, promoting his latest album Funeral. 

The rapper was recently a guest on the Drink Champ show on Revolt TV. During his chat with hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, he revealed that he was 53% Nigerian. Of course, this comes as no surprise as Lil Wayne has previously expressed his interest in visiting Nigeria. 

He went on to reveal that he found out through a website, ancestry.com which has been getting buzz as many African-American celebrities have traced their African roots via its services.

This announcement has sent Naija social media on a chatter journey as everyone can’t stop talking about the possibilities that Weezy is truly a Nigerian.
