A mother has shared her challenging but inspiring journey to motherhood.
Identifying herself only as Rose, she shared her story on the Instagram page of I Am Motherhood, an initiative started by TV presenter Janet Mbugua to celebrate motherhood.
Rose began by making a simple but powerful statement: "I have always wanted to be a mum."
She said that she struggled to conceive since she got married five years ago, adding that she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.
To treat her infertility, she had to use fertility medicines and injections, which however made her sick.
