Huge snake eats another one, but the “meal” manages to escape alive (photos, video)

A rather gruesome scene was managed to get captured on video by a couple who saw a snake regurgitating its food. The detail is that the “meal” was in fact another snake! Thisanimal luckily turned out to still be alive after its ordeal.
Christopher Reynolds and his wife Nina saw the snake to the side of a road, on their way back home from a family visit in Texas.
The large black reptile started regurgitating another live snake, in a scene akin to a horror movie. It then escaped to a nearby bush area.
Gross!

These animals often regurgitate their food, most of the times if they felt they overate or had some kind of threat. In the case that was recorded, as the snake had not started its digestion, the “meal” was miraculously left alive.

“I can't believe that little dude's still alive,” Reynolds is heard saying on the footage, calling the whole scene “crazy”.
