Crocodile devours WHOLE deer after unsuspecting animal comes too close to pond (photos, video)

A crocodile recorded on video at the exact moment it caught a defenseless deer off guard near the edge of a pond, pouncing on it and wolfing it down.
The footage was taped today at Khao Yai National Park in Thailand, and it sends a chilling message as to the extreme ruthlessness and strength of these huge reptiles.

It is not the first instance in recent times that a crocodile attack has occurred in this park.
Back in January, a French woman ignored warnings to not stray off the trails, and approached a pond with her husband, in order to get a selfie with one of these animals, which can grow up to three meters long and weigh 100 kilos.
The crocodile instantly attacked the woman and bit her leg. 46-year-old Benetulier Lesuffleur was luckier than the deer though, and came out alive after her ordeal.

The images of the deer and crocodile are impacting in their crudeness and seeing how fast these animals can react. The mammal looks completely helpless pitched against its enormous jaws.
