Dealing with the loss of a loved one is not an easy task, it is an even difficult feat when you are mourning a recent loss and remembering three other people in the span of 6 years.
Mary Wambui Kinyanjui, the late baby Brian’s grandmother, had been hailed as strong woman for standing beside Brian who was nursing brain trauma and severe body injuries following a fatal accident he was involved in with his 21-year-old mother.
They were hit by a driver on January 2016 in Ruiru, Kimabu town and unfortunately, his mother died on the spot as Brian was rushed to the hospital. For a year now, Kinyanjui took up duties of looking after Brian despite her frail state.

According to Ndungu Nyoro, she has been besides Brian’s bed attending to him, praying for his recovery alongside another woman, looking after him.

“She would have wished it different but she had to walk Brian’s journey of pain until now when he’s been called home. And when all this happens, she still has to look for KSh 2.5 million to offset her grandson’s medical bill for his body to be released,” wrote Nyoro.
Kinyanjui and Nyoro called on their online family to come in and help raise the money and to stand with the young master’s grandmother.
“Please send support through Paybill number 891300 to Account Brian or M-Pesa to 0799789942,” added Nyoro.
A comment by Dayvi David who donates some money to the late Baby Brian’s medical bills revealed that 5,329 Kenyans raised KSh 2.45 million, 70% target within minutes of Nyoro's post going up and are hoping more people will chip in financially.
A recent donation reveals that 7,388 Kenyans raised KSh 4, 004, 639 by 11.15am, Sunday, February 26. God bless you all.
