School principal breaks 14-year-old boy's spinal cord (photos)
A 14-year old boy, Siphamandla Choma is now wheelchair bound after he was beaten by his principal.
Due to the merciless flogging the poor boy ended up with a twisted spinal cord.
The incident happened in November in Middleburg, South Africa.
Choma who is now in constant pain was accused of stealing money by his principal. He explained that the principal put his leg on his chest. He said: "He tripped me and I fell and he put his knee on my chest."
The lawyer in charge of the case, Eddie Mabaso, said the law was not in line with the conduct of the principal. Mabaso said: "The conduct of the principal we believe, is not in line with the policy of the government... more especially of the fact that there is no corporal punishment."
