Adekunle Gold delivered a soulful and remarkable performance at the NPR Tiny Desk Home Concert, celebrating Black Music Month.
Multitalented and award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Adekunle Gold delivered a heartfelt performance at the Tiny Desk Home Concert at the celebration of the Black Music Month organized by NPR Music.
The singer kicked off his performance with the hit song ‘Sinner’ and followed up with ‘Something Different,’ ‘One Woman’ and ‘Okay.’
According to Tiny Desk Series Producer, Bobby in order to celebrate Black Music Month:
“We will publish eleven performances representing the past, present, and future of Black music. This is the first time each of the eleven acts will play the Tiny Desk”.
Adekunle Gold is one of the two artists alongside Naira Marley that would be representing Nigeria at the Black Music Month celebration organized by NPR Music. He also joins the exclusive catalogue of Nigerian artists such as Tems, Fireboy DML, Davido, Burna Boy and Tiwa Savage as the only acts to have performed on the show.
