Nigerian iconic singer, songwriter and performer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, reflected on his success and that of his smash hit 'Essence' at his 2021 Lagos headline show.
The Grammy-nominated afrobeats star, who thrilled his fans with an energetic performance at the concert hosted by Livespot festival, before performing his smash tune "Essence," took a pause to reflect on the fact that the song broke into Billboard's top 10, a milestone worth celebrating over and over again.

Away from the success of the song, Wizkid, for motivational purposes, reflected on the fact that such a great feat was achieved by "a small boy from Ojuelegba" - making reference to himself.
The event, which took place at the Livespot Entertainment Center, Ikate, Lekki, saw performances from stars like Olamide, CKay, Rema, Bad Boy Timz, Simi, Bella Shmurda, and a host of others.
