Augustine Olaonipekun Macgregor otherwise known as ‘Scary P’ is a wave making Nigerian recording artist, rapper, singer and chrsistian songwriter.

He was born in Lagos State (Nigeria) in May 1992 and first garnered recognition with his 2005 High School single that earned him the bragging rights as one of the talented act to look out for, got him to perform and represent his school at several event.

He later began his rise to prominence as a singer, releasing several songs including a 2012 collaboration with Davido. Soon afterwards, Scary P whose names was borne out of his lyrically scary, rhyming patterns and delivery proceeded to university bagging a Bsc from Leadcity Private University Ibadan, Oyo State.

Now, signed on to SP records, he says joggling music and schooling is a bit of a challenge but he’s been able to navigate the waters successfully.

In his words, ‘I’ve been involved in the music scene for quite sometime now I’ve had to run it concurrently with school and at some point, I had to choose one over the other. Now that I have my B.Sc in Business Administration, I ‘m fully back to music and it can only get better from now on with my record label and team solidly working behind the scenes’.

Scary P draws inspiration from legends like DMX, Eminem, Jay Z, Tupac and he has just dropped his debut single titled “Down there”.

The new tune is a romantic toast rap/ trap song, laced with a melodious flavor which several industry pundits have unanimously certified a monster hit single. The video for the song has already been shot at some of his favorite holiday spots including UK and the UAE.

Talking about the new song, Scary P says, ‘this jam is strictly for the ladies. Its a fusion of rap in a melodious trap sequence and as I always tell my fans, we must continue to make good hip-hop music and shy away from violence.
