Suspected Badoo cult member gets apprehended in Ikorodu (photos)
- A man suspected to belong to the dreaded cult group in Ikorodu has been nabbed
- Residents of Ikorodu beat him to a pulp before the elders intervened
A suspected Badoo cult group member was nabbed in Ikorodu on Friday, June 30 by residents in the area. The man was found wandering around Obafemi Awolowo Road around Government Technical College in Ikorodu when he was nabbed.
According to the witnesses, the suspected member of the dreaded cult group was unable to defend himself when asked what he was doing around the area. Also, he was said to have been in possession of a cutlass and a bag filled with waste.
When the suspect was probed further, he claimed to be a farmer with no living relatives. The youths descended on him and gave him the beating of his life.

But for the intervention of the elders in the community, he would have been lynched. The elders however, beseeched the angry mob not to take laws into their hands as they encouraged them to hand him over to the police at Igbogbo police station.
