Young man with meager salary builds modest house for parents

There is no mountain insurmountable if you put you mind to it and with proper planning, anything can be achieved!

Despite how meagre his income is, a man allegedly built a two-bedroom bungalow for himself and his parents after seeing how a landlord embarrassed them when he was just 9.

According to Twitter user Ayobami, a 27-year-old Nigerian man built a two bedroom apartment from his meager N40,000 monthly salary.

Though the poster said he posted this so as to encourage others, some Nigerians believe it's a lie as it looks unrealistic in this present economy of the country.

Ayobami shed more light on this when he shared that the guy made up his mind to build a house of his own since he was 9-year-old. At that young age, he witnessed their landlord throwing out his parents’ properties. Meanwhile, for him to have enough money to embark on this project, he was said to be living with his parents who were also feeding him while he was saving to achieve his dream.

While building his house, some of his bosses were said to have encouraged him by giving him money to roof the house when they heard about it.

The house is said to be in Ibadan, Oyo state.
