A woman in Mississippi, US has shared her inspiring graduation story in a bid to motivate others to never give up.
Writing on the Because of Them We Can Facebook page, Joi Owens said she was involved in a car accident while she was seven months pregnant with her son.
At the time, she was in her first year of college studying Law.
Owens wrote: "My burns and injuries required that I remain on crutches for the duration of my pregnancy. I struggled through school."
She continued: "Most days, I was in so much pain I barely managed to make it through the day, let alone the rigorous challenges of a first year law student."
However, Owens never gave up and her determination saw her finally graduating with her Law degree and becoming an attorney.
