Wawu! Thieves break into police station, steal phones and money
NAIJ.com gathered that a young man who was arrested and locked up in a police station was charged to court for breaking into the anti-robbery department to steal.

According to them, their station was ransacked by some robbers who they had arrested and detained in their cell.
The robbers broke into the anti-robbery department of the station, stole some money and phones belonging to two officers identified as Femi Elebute and Shittu Babatunde and eventually escaped before the officers on night duty came back from their patrol.

One of the robbers identified as 22-year-old Onyeka Mba, was however caught and arraigned at a court for his involvement.
Mba denied any involvement and even pleaded 'not guilty' in court, after which the presiding magistrate, E.O Ogunkanmi, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000.
PM.EXPRESS reports that the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the station asked for further investigations into the matter.
