This woman graduates with Master's degree 12 years after dropping out of undergraduate studies

A US woman has shared how she was able to finally achieve her dreams through sheer determination.

Writing on the Facebook page of Because of Them We Can, LaToya Grow said she dropped out of her undergraduate studies 12 years ago.

She said she spent several years barely able to provide for herself and her son, adding that she survived with help from friends and family.

For some, this would be dispiriting. For LaToya, however, she never gave up and through sheer determination, she was able to complete her undergraduate studies.

However, she felt a sense of unfinished business and continued with her studies. She has now finally earned her Master's degree.

LaToya added: "I never wanted a master's degree, didn't think I could do it, but God said different."

She continued: "I'm so proud that I had the grace to finish what I started so many years ago and my man child has had a front row seat. Catch us on the winning side!"

LaToya's inspiring story is yet another indication that with determination, one can overcome obstacles to achieve one's dreams.
