- Another filmmaker has now offered to work with him
Social media has been known to catapult people from relative obscurity to instant fame. For one high schooler in the US, this recently became a reality.
Isaiah Howard shared a video, as he often does, of himself lip-syncing to a hip-hop track on his Twitter page.
A prominent filmmaker, Matthew Cherry, came across it and was sufficiently impressed to retweet with the caption: "So this video belongs to @isaiahxavier10. On behalf of #FilmTwitter I encourage you to get into directing. This was [hot]."
Cherry's retweet caught the attention of Jordan Peele, another prominent filmmaker who offered to work with young Isaiah. Soon, more filmmakers on Twitter were scrambling to get in touch with him.
These filmmakers were especially impressed by Isaiah's video mixing and editing skills and clearly believed he's good enough to break into the profession.

From the look of it, Isaiah seems to have opened the door to being signed up to a major film production company. To achieve this without any formal training, at his age, is incredible.
