Two young men suspected of being gay have received 85 lashes in front of a cheering crowd in Aceh, Indonesia.
The unidentified men who were dressed in white shirts and trousers were taken to a public stage to receive their lashes.
NAIJ.com gathered that men dressed in brown robes from head-to-toe delivered the punishment to the two suspects as the crowd cheered and took pictures.

According to DailyMail, authorities had to warn the crowd to refrain from attacking the 20 and 23-year-old suspects who were already traumatised by the incident.
In Aceh province, Sharia law is a part of the legal system that governs the province.
When people are caught breaking the law in Aceh, they are sentenced to punishment according to the Sharia law.
