Young Nigerian from Kebbi state assembles cars with his own hands (Photos)
Nigeria is undoubtedly rich in the people that are gifted in various fields of human knowledge. NAIJ.com has run across a young Nigerian who is involved in nothing less than assembling of cars with his bare hands.
NAIJ.com readers, this is Muzzamil Umar. He is a 21-year-old SS3 student based in Kebbi state.
Muzzamil Umar
Muzzamil would have been an ordinary young man if he wasn't a self-taught car-maker designing various types of well-functioning automobiles. His unusual and, with no doubt, prospective hobby has already generated buzz among the local people in Muzzamil's native town.

Muzzamil's hobby has already generated buzz among the local people in his native town in Kebbi state.
The results Muzzamil Umar has by far achieved in his high-technology and skill-requiring occupation have caused a positive reaction among some users of the popular Nigerian forum Nairaland.
AbuuUthaymeen: As much as I commend his efforts, I do not know if this should be called an invention or remaking the wheel, except there is a novel design or idea he used in making his automobile. Nevertheless, thumbs up to you, bro.
Jkendy: Thank God for saving this one from Boko mentality. At least Western education isn't "Haram" after all.
IamThrive: Truly, Nigerians are good people in a great nation (in the words of our late Dora Akunyili). Tomorrow I won't be surprised if you become Innoson of the North. More power to your elbow!
Musicwriter: This is the type of endeavour all African governments should encourage. This is the only way we can be free from the import-based economy! We can only develop when we begin manufacturing those things we currently import.
However, some respondents were of a different opinion.
Kolnel: What happened to economic advantage? Nigeria should focus more on agriculture among other things. Technologies have moved pass through this poo since 1864. This not invention, Henry Ford did better than this in the 17th century. Give the guy 40 acres to farm with tractors.
Dinggle: He tried sha, but he wasted his time. He is no doubt talented but not in this field. Suggestion! Build toy cars from plastic, wood or metal with your talent, distribute within Nigerian market and in less than two years you will be worth millions, then you can invest some of it in getting materials for your prototype car.
Kendiddy: That silly invention has nothing to offer this generation of automobiles. If it were in the times of Karl Benz, we would apreciate it. Mi, can you guarantee the safety of that car? The car is bereaved of any scholarly knowledge.
