Tragedy as reckless driver kills couple returning home from husband's birthday party (photos)
Reckless driver kills couple, Patrick and Jackie Dane, who were returning home from husband’s birthday celebration.
NAIJ.com gathered that the driver who was driving a black Dodge Charger hit the couple’s car head-on while he was driving on wrong-way in Woodlands Texas around 4:00am.

Patrick and Jackie were out celebrating Patrick’s 50th birthday before they were hit in the tragic accident. The couple’s car, a white Mercedes Benz went straight into a cement barrier while the Charger blew up.

The 32-year-old driver, who was identified as, Adam Bonilla, also died.

They were all discovered when Jackie’s sister who was heading home passed the crash scene and recognized her sister’s car.
Patrick and Jackie met more than 15 years ago, through their children (Patrick's daughter Melania and Jackie's son Bryson) who were in the same primary school band. They got married in 2007.
Jackie served in the U.S. Army Reserve and worked for nearly two decades as a postal carrier while Patrick was a mechanic who also worked in the oil and gas industry.

Police say they still don't know why Bonilla was driving the wrong way on the road.
NAIJ.com gathered that his car reached speeds of up to 100 mph. The police are investigating to find out if alcohol played a role in the accident.
