Na wa o! Man handcuffs wife to generator from NIGHT till MORNING in Ogun state (photo)
NAIJ.com gathered that a 37-year-old man was recently arrested for beating and handcuffing his wife to a generator from night till the following morning.
The man identified as Ifeanyi Ajaero, had handcuffed his wife, 28-year-old Obiageli, to a power generating set, after seriously battering her.
According to the Ogun state police command, Obiageli had been beaten and handcuffed to the generator, from the night of Friday, April 14, to the morning of Saturday, April 15.
Confirming the incident, the Ogun state police public relations officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the incident occurred somewhere in Ewooluwo, in Sagamu.

Oyeyemi said the victim's neighbours had alerted the police about the incident, after witnessing several beatings meted out by her husband.
The police immediately arrived at the scene where they rescued Obiageli and arrested Ifeanyi who claimed that he did what he did in self-defence.

Describing the action as an act of wickedness, the state commissioner of police, Ahmed Iliyasu, ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the Anti- Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the state investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.
