Meet 15-year-old teen girl whose parents are originally from Africa dazzles Britain's Got Talent show (photos, video)

15-year-old Sarah Ikumu dazzled judges and the audience alike with her performance at the Britain's Got Talent (BGT) show on Saturday, April 15.
Reports indicate that Sarah's parents, who are Kenyan immigrants settled in Milton Keynes, UK, encouraged her to sing from a young age.
Her path to stardom started off when she was a young five-year-old girl singing in church.
Her humble beginning was not forgotten, however, when she delivered a stunning performance at the BGT that earned her a rare golden buzzer from judge Simon Cowell.
The teenage girl performed the Dreamgirls popular hit And I am Telling You and triggered a rousing reception from the audience.

With guidance from her father Alex Gatoto, who is a pastor, and her mother, Sarah already had an online and social media presence as a budding singer.

She also has music videos of several of her performances, including renditions of Aretha Franklin's Think and Adele's When We Were Young.
After Sarah's performance on Saturday, judge Simon Cowell said: "It's like you were possessed! I have heard that song loads, but you nailed it, you made it yours!"
Social media also showered praise on Sarah's outstanding vocals, with many commenters urging music record labels to sign her up immediately.

Having already won numerous awards and competitions prior to BGT, Sarah is destined for greater things.
