Ondo governor Akeredolu sacks bosses of ALL government agencies
Ondo state governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the dissolution of all Boards and Parastatals in the state, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
Akerdolu says all heads of government agencies and others should vacate their positions
Toyin Akinkuotu, the state’s head of service announced the immediate dissolution of the boards and parastatals on Saturday, March 11 in Akure, the state capital.

In a statement, Akinkuotu urged all chairmen, political appointees and non-career employees in all boards and parastatals in the state to hand over all government properties in their custody to the accounting officers in their respective offices.
He, however, said that statutory commissions whose tenure were specified in the 1999 Nigerian Constitution were exempted from the dissolution.

NAIJ.com recalls that just on Friday, March 10, reports emerged that Governor Akeredolu froze the accounts of the 18 local government areas in the state.
The chairmen and the counselors of the councils were members of the Peoples Democratic Party who were elected into the offices after winning the local government election held in April 2016.
