Some Lagos residents have called on the state government to come to their aid after land grabbers popularly known as (Omo Oni le) destroyed their houses with heavy bulldozers.
The land grabbers allegedly destroyed houses located at Oke Afa, Ajao estate at the early hours of Saturday, March 11.
They claimed they were doing so because of the inability of house owners to pay N2M each for building houses on their land.

According to one of the victims, @Whandywonder, who shared the story on social media the land grabbers have no right to the land.
@Whandywonder said: “We have gone to court severally, dialogued with the Oba of Ejigbo, brought in town planners and general surveyors who proved that they (Omo Onile) have no land there, but all efforts to retain their houses and lands have been futile.”
