Heartless residents steal meat from vehicle involved in accident, leaving injured driver to bleed (photos, video)

A driver of a probox in Limuru almost died despite residents being at the accident scene. The residents rushed to steal kilos of meat the car was transporting ignoring the driver who was injured

Residents of Kwambira village in Limuru have left many shocked after their heartless action while at an accident scene in the area.

The residents on Wednesday, March 22, flocked to an accident scene but only to steal meat from a Toyota Probox involved, leaving the driver bleeding almost to death in his seat.

The Probox had been in an accident which involved three vehicles. The driver was on his way to Nakuru.

“The vehicle [Probox] was obstructed by a matatu that wanted to pick passengers, but since [the driver] was speeding, [he] tried to overtake it, but unfortunately hit all these vehicles,” Paul Ndung’u, a witness, narrated.

A fuel tanker was among the vehicles involved in the accident a thing that made other residents waiting for public transport to scamper for safety fearing the tanker would burst into flames.

People, however, noticed that the fuel tanker was only hit at the back. They returned to the scene and found the meat which they scramble for leaving the driver in the front seat despite his dire need of help.

The driver was rescued after all that commotion.
