Police say the man, Jacob Merchant, is homeless and has broken into multiple homes. The add that he didn't steal anything from the homes and always left after eating and taking a shower.

In the latest incident, a homeowner reported him to the police after she found him in her shower upon returning to her home after midnight. She said her kitchen was a mess, indicating that the man had cooked.

Jacob only sought food and a shower
