Atletico Madrid Want Alexis Sanchez To Replace Man United Target Antoine Griezmann

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is a £60m target for Atletico Madrid, according to reports in the Sunday Mirror.

The Chile international, 28, has been identified by Atleti boss Diego Simeone as the man to replace Antoine Griezmann, who is expected to sign for Man Utd in the summer.

Alexis is contracted to the Gunners until June 30 2018.

Alexis Sanchez has been involved in a well-documented contract stand-off with the Gunners, and wants a bumper pay-rise to pen a new deal at the Emirates.

Simeone is said to be a huge admirer of Sanchez, who joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2014, due to his determination and enthusiasm on the pitch.
