7 powerful politicians that will block Fayose’s presidential bid and why
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state said God showed him a revelation that he will one day become the president of Nigeria.
He said the prophecy will manifest in the same way and manner he became governor of Ekiti state twice against all odds.
However, Hon. Opeyemi Falegan, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state, has said Fayose cannot be voted to rule the country because he is arrogant and has no respect for elders.
The politician based in the United Kingdom described the governor’s statement as “a wishful thinking of a personality without pedigree and antecedent to actualise such dream.”

Falegan said: “Disrespect and arrogance being displayed by Gov. Fayose against some of the leaders in Southwest and Nigeria as a whole especially those he believes are not on the same political page with him is worrisome and shameful to Yoruba race.
“Yoruba people across the world are known for their respect, hard work, sincerity and humility before the elders. Anybody who lacks any of the traits cannot represent the region as either a president or vice President of Nigeria.
“It is a wise saying that, ‘a good name is better than riches and gold’ and charity they say, begins at home. Anybody who cannot accord his kinsmen due respect, I think, is not capable to lead a population of over 170 million Nigerians, except we want to turn the country to a theatrical arena.”
He listed some top politicians who have been disrespected by Fayose and would be a hindrance to the actualization of his presidential bid. They are:
