On Wednesday, January 11, a middle aged woman was reported to have delivered her bouncing baby boy inside a BRT bus.

According to eye witnesses, they disclosed that the woman delivered her baby around 9am along Ketu/Mile 12, Lagos. They added that, she had boarded a bus to Irawo bus stop, going to the hospital believed to be at Iyanapaja but the baby could no longer wait.

As soon as she entered the bus, she suddenly became uncomfortable and restless and immediately, other female passengers joined hands together and delivered the baby, as they covered the newborn baby with a cloth.
Other passengers were transferred into another bus as the woman was then taken to the hospital
