“My Coaching Career Will End Soon” – Guardiola Says
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has revealed that the end of his coaching career is near.
The 45-year-old signed a three-year contract at the Etihad Stadium last summer, but says he might not go on till he is 60.
“I will be at Manchester for the next three seasons, maybe more, but I am arriving at the end of my coaching career, of this I am sure,” he told NBC Sports, prior to City’s 2-1 Premier League win over Burnley on Monday.
“I will not be on the bench until I am 60 or 65 years old. I feel that the process of my goodbye has already started.”
Guardiola has won 22 trophies since he started out at Barcelona B in 2007.
