BREAKING: Protests erupt again over US President Donald Trump

Anti-Trump protesters have continued to take down streets across Washington and other areas of the DC in the United States since the swearing-in of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the country on Friday, January 20.

Trump won the election that followed what is now believed to be the most controversial presidential campaign in the country.

He floored Hilary Clinton, a former senator in the country who many had thought would win the election.

While the oath-taking process was ongoing on Friday, citizens of the country and other residents took to the streets in protest and chanting anti-Trump songs and vandalizing properties.

The protests progressed into Saturday as seen from photographs and video recordings trending online.

Hindustan Times reports that the protesters were dressed in black as they smashed store and car windows on Friday

It took the police several efforts to calm the protesters armed with placards carrying the inscription: “Make Racists Afraid Again,” which is believed to be a mockery of Trump’s statement that he would make America great again.

The Telegraph also reports that thousands of protesters joined the march against Trump on Saturday in Australia and New Zealand.

It reports that inSydney, Australia, about 3,000 protesters gathered at the Hyde Park before marching on the US consulate with placards in their hands.

Also, in London, protesters displayed a banner that read: ‘Build bridges not walls’ at the Tower Bridge just as the report added that about 30 groups have obtained permits for protests.
