Top Nigerian music stars turn footballers? Wins trophy for Chelsea (photos)

On Sunday, December 4, popular Nigerian comedian, actor, producer and radio personality, Yaw hosted famous Nigerian celebrities to an 'All Star Football Match' season 2.

The football match which was held at Campos Stadium, Onikan, Lagos, had in attendance celebrities from different parts of the industry such as comedian Bovi, Funnybone, Lolo1, Senator, Princewill, Mc Shakara, Pencil among others and music artists such as, award-winning singer and one of the Psquare brothers, Peter Okoye, FALZ, Reekado Banks, Solidstar. The movie industry was not left out has they had Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki), Mofe Duncan, John Njamah among others present at the football match.

Popular OAP Nedu, music star Falz who played for Arsenal at Yaw's All Star Football Match season 2.

However, majority of these celebrities were on the pitch while others were sitting in the bench supporting their club. The first round of the match had Arsenal and Manchester United play against each other as comedian Nedu made the team win by scoring the second goal for Arsenal and Manchester United left the pitch with only one goal.

The second round of the match was between Chelsea which Peter Okoye, Funnybone and Akpororo played a massive role against the Ifeanyi Ubah team but the match ended as Chelsea won with a penalty goal of 1-0.

Concluding the event, Chelsea won the trophy while Akpororo received award as the ‘most valuable player’ of the competition. In order to make the atmosphere lively, Yaw treated his guest with great care as there was a lot of food, drinks to go round.
