Just before the concluded US elections which saw Donald Trump emerge as the president-elect of the United State of America, Nigerian Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, reportedly threatened to tear up his American green card depending on a particular outcome.

Wole Soyinka's 'look-alike'

Professor Soyinka eventually caused an uproar on social media when Trump won, with the public clamouring for the 82-year-old to keep his word as he promised to do.

Taking the professor's threat as a literal joke, a Facebook user identified as Oyinemi Nicholas Endeley, shared a joke about encountering him in a barbing saloon where Professor Soyinka had come to have his signature grey hair (abi white sef), shaved off.
