A 37-year-old popular pastor in South Africa, Leonard Baloyi was killed by a hit-and-run driver after he went jogging on Friday, December 2.

Daily Sun SA, revealed that the pastor took his wife and children shopping on Thursday, December 1, to Westgate Mall and the next day he went jogging as usual the next morning but unfortunately, he was killed as the driver took to his heels.
They further reported that, the pastor was jogging along Elias Motsoaledi road, Dobsonville when the incident took place. His 34-year-old wife Tshwela Baloyi, disclosed that she has been married for 11-years but never knew he would leave her so soon.

She said: “I waited at the gate hoping he would come, but he didn’t. Police helped in the search, but Baloyi was nowhere to be found.”
Pastor Baloyi’s body which was found the next day was deposited at Diepkloof mortuary and his memorial service is set to take place on Tuesday, December 20 while his funeral will take place on Friday, December 23, in South Africa.
