Sad! Nigerian woman commits suicide over debt

Chei! See what this recession has caused, a young woman drank rat posion because she could not afford to pay a 6000 naira debt.

Popular feminist and founder of Sustyvibes.com, Jennifer Uchendu, made this known on her social media page, on Tuesday, December 20.

She said: “At the hospital last week, a young woman drank rat poison mainly because she could not afford a 6k debt. Six thousand naira."

Meanwhile, a concerned Nigerian offered to help the young woman, only to find out that she died after she ingested the poison.
