Woman attacked by leopard as she protects her four-year-old godson
The 53-year-old woman who was enjoying a circus show in, Bogotol, Krasnoyarsk region, Siberia, with her godson explained that the leopard suddenly jumped on her and attacked her with its teeth.
She said: “Suddenly he jumped in front of my nose, I only had time to cover Tim. The beast grabbed me with its teeth, and began to tear me up. I shrieked. What happened next, I don’t remember except like everyone else we rushed for the door.”

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital after the circus staff succeeded in pulling the beast from her.
According to Siberia Times, the leopard (Loki) had been taken out of the arena by its woman tamer earlier, after appearing ‘aggressive’ but it rushed towards the boy and his godmother immediately.

The woman was stitched 10 times and her muscle was bitten all the way through.
