SAD! Corp member dies of Lassa fever in Cross River state NAIJ.com gathered that a serving corp member reportedly died of the dreaded Lassa fever, somewhere in Cross River state. There seems to be an increase in the death of serving corp members in 2017, as almost 20 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the year. A corp member serving in Cross River state, identified as Onwuegbuzie Stanley Samuel has been reported dead. According to reports, the young man died of the Lassa fever disease at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH). The Facebook user identified as Teena Tinis, shared several conversations she held with a man who calls himself Pastor Alex Oludele. According to Teena, Oludele is a 'prophet of doom' who has been harassing her, and even went ahead to 'place a curse' on her.
