According to reports and tributes posted on social media by friends of the deceased, 19-year-old Kika, had travelled all the way from the UK to Lagos, to get treatment for what she thought was an infection. Instead of the infection, it was discovered that late Kika had a ruptured appendix and was supposed to have surgery to remove it.
